JAN ANTONS

VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER

Jan Antons was named Vice President & General Manager in January 2017. Antons previously held the position of Director of Football Operations & General Manager. He is in his 3rd season as GM, 1st season as VP and 5th season overall with the Kamloops Broncos. Antons also serves as a Director on the board of the Kamloops Sports Council, Director of Special Events for BC Special Olympics (2016, 2017) as well as the Director of Events & Ceremonies for the 2018 BC Winter Games.

Jan Antons has a passion for sports and has over 10 years of experience in the sports industry. Prior to joining the Broncos, Antons worked for the Calgary Flames and Hockey Canada. Antons was the Equipment Manager for Hockey Canada at the 2013 World Championships in Seoul, South Korea and the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.

In addition to spending time with Broncos, Antons is the Assistant Manager of Office Systems at BCLC.

Jan Antons holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business as well as a Diploma from Thompson Rivers University.

In 2014, Antons was named Sports Person of the Year for the City of Kamloops.

BRAD YAMAOKA

DIRECTOR OF PLAYER PERSONNEL & HEAD COACH

Brad Yamaoka is in his 10th year with the Kamloops Broncos. The current Head Coach returns for two more seasons after signing a contract early 2017. Coach Yamaoka began working with the Broncos full time in 2014, specializing in RB and special teams. Prior to his career with the Kamloops Broncos, Yamaoka coached at Kalamalka Secondary (2009-2012).

Brad Yamaoka is in his 10th year with the Kamloops Broncos. The current Head Coach returns for two more seasons after signing a contract early 2017. Coach Yamaoka began working with the Broncos full time in 2014, specializing in RB and special teams. Prior to his career with the Kamloops Broncos, Yamaoka coached at Kalamalka Secondary (2009-2012).


After being drafted 24th overall in the 1996 CFL draft, Yamaoka played running back with the BC Lions until 1998, followed by a 6-year career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, retiring in 2004. In his Junior years, Yamaoka played for University of British Columbia (1991-1995) and took the title of conference all-star in 1992. This followed his selection as the Provincial Offensive MVP in 1990 and winning provincials during his early career as running back for Kam High.

TODD WISEMAN

DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR

Todd Wiseman is in his third season with the Kamloops Broncos. The NCCP certified defensive coordinator has coached with the Kamloops Cowboys, Kamloops High Red Devils and the Men’s Semi Pro, Calgary Thunder. The Kamloops Broncos signed Coach Wiseman in 2015 as Defensive Coordinator and continues to hold that position for the 2017 season.

Todd Wiseman is in his third season with the Kamloops Broncos. Wiseman was drafted 13th overall by the BC Lions in 1987 and was voted the 1992 CFL Eastern All Star Safety. During his 8-year career in the CFL, Wiseman played for the BC Lions, Toronto Argonauts, and the Hamilton Tiger Cats. Before being drafted into the CFL, Wiseman played university for Simon Fraser University, San Diego State University and Imperial Valley JC, where he was voted MVP and Foothills Conference All Star. The 2010 Kamloops Sports hall of fame inductee also played for the Kamloops High Red Devils winning the 1981 BC High School Championship.

JESSE NEUFELD

OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR

Jesse Neufeld enters his second season as Offensive Coordinator. Neufeld has participated in the growth of the Kamloops Broncos since 2010, playing both QB and SB during his 5 year career.

Jesse Neufeld enters his second season as Offensive Coordinator. Neufeld has participated in the growth of the Kamloops Broncos since 2010, playing both QB and SB during his 5 year career. 

Jesse was awarded the Presidents Award for Dedication in 2013 and was also a member of the 2009 undefeated Leduc Tigers as offensive assistant, where he began in 2008. The Broncos alumnus has participated in multiple coaching clinics as both coach and quarterback, using his experience to guest coach at the minor and high school level. Neufeld also has ties with the BC Lions, where he began as film assistant in 2012. Jesse is currently completing his law degree at A Thompson Rivers University law and is a prospective Juris Doctorate of 2019.

DARRYL CHOW

Darryl Chow is one of the founding members of the Kamloops Broncos and the Kamloops Cowboys. He has 43 years of coaching experience including 17 years with the BCFL. With the Broncos, Chow has had roles as QB coach, Assistant to the Head Coach, Head Coach, General Manager and Board Member.

Darryl Chow is one of the founding members of the Kamloops Broncos and the Kamloops Cowboys. He has 43 years of coaching experience including 17 years with the BCFL. With the Broncos, Chow has had roles as QB coach, Assistant to the Head Coach, Head Coach, General Manager and Board Member. 

Currently he is an offensive and team assistant coach. Coach Chow was awarded the title of B.C. Secondary School Okanagan Junior Football Coach in 1989/1991. For 20 years, Chow has participated in the annual Western Canadian All Star Football Camp at Simon Fraser University as both junior Defensive coordinator and Offensive coordinator. Most recently, Coach Chow participated as a guest clinician at the Jay Prepchuck QB and Receiver Camp. Locally, Chow coached 34 years at the high school level including head coaching stints with the Westsyde Blue Wave , Valleyview Vikings and as a co-coach of the Interior Selects with Brad Yamaoka.

JEFF HUNTER

DEFENSIVE ASSISTANT

Jeff is in his 8 season with the Kamloops Broncos after a brief absence from the team in 2014-2015. Jeff played junior and senior football in Kamloops before playing in the BCFC for the Okanagan Sun.

Jeff joined the Broncos coaching staff in 2007 and briefly left in 2014 to coach the Okanagan Sun. Jeff returned to the Broncos in 2016.

JON COLLAVINI

DEFENSIVE ASSISTANT

Jon Collavini is in his 6th season with the Kamloops Broncos. Jon is an alumnus of the University of Calgary and won the National Championship with the Calgary Dinos in 1995. He player for the Kam High Red Devils from 88-89 and then later continued his junior football career in Abbotsford and Kelowna. Jon was All-Canadian and played for the Okanagan Sun for 2 years.

Nolan Henderson, who goes by Trey, is in his 2nd season with the Kamloops Broncos. Trey's 2006 honours included All-AAA Western Conference first team as a senior defensive end and tight end at Vancouver (British Columbia) College High. He had 40 tackles and 8 sacks in 2006. Vancouver College was the runner-up in the 2006 Provincial Championship game.

As a 2004 sophomore, he made All-Conference as he had 24 catches for 272 yards (11.3 avg.) with 3 TDs.

Trey  is believed to be the first Canadian player offered a scholarship to play football at USC

CONNOR WHITELAW

OFFENSIVE ASSISTANT

Connor Whitelaw  is in his second season with the Kamloops Broncos. Last season Connor served as the quarterback coach. Connor is a graduate of South Kamloops Secondary, where he won an Okanagan All-Star. After graduation, Connor played for Simon Fraser University from 2011-2012, before returning home to play for the Kamloops Broncos 2012-2015.

Connor Whitelaw  is in his second season with the Kamloops Broncos. Last season Connor served as the quarterback coach. Connor coached minor and high school football prior to coaching for the Broncos. 

He is currently a student at TRU and plans to graduate with a Bachelor of Education Degree in 2018.

ERIC ISENOR

DEFENSIVE ASSISTANT

Eric Isenor is in his 2nd season with the Kamloops Broncos. Eric is an alumnus of Queens University where he played as halfback and linebacker. He played for the Gaels from 2003-2006. After graduating from Queens, Eric played as a linebacker / safety for the Tri-City Thunder in the North American Football League - 2008. For the 2008/09 season Eric played as a linebacker for the Toronto Raiders in the Northern Football Conference. He received the team's defensive MVP award in 2009.
