Game 4 Recap: Broncos 26 @ Raiders 35
The Broncos second half struggles in close games continued in their first of two games against the VI Raiders. After coming out and dominating on both sides of the ball throughout the first half, holding the home side to just one first down, they couldn't get into a rhythm in the second.
Yachison and Palmarin continued making their mark on the stat sheets with two through the air and one pounded in from short yardage. Big plays plagued the travelling team after a blocked punt put the Raiders on the Kamloops one yard line, to set up their sole score of the first half, and a pick 6 flipped the lead, along with the momentum, as time expired in the third.
The highly spirited game sets the tone for what will surely be a fiery rematch at Hillside Stadium in Kamloops as the two teams battle in back to back weeks.
Kamloops sits 2-2 on the season with the Raiders at 3-1 and the Broncos surely feel they have let a couple of winnable games slip away after solid half time leads against VI and Langley.
